All hell broke loose among these four Swainson’s spurfowl when the mound of ground they’d been scratching around sat up and transformed itself into a leopard. Fortunately, fowl wasn’t on the feline’s radar as he’d spied some impala in the distance. The spurfowl screamed blue murder, which set the nearby guineafowl off and instantly the entire world knew there was a predator in the area, and that ended any thoughts of breakfast. The spurfowl fled the scene with only some ruffled feathers.
