Sean grew up with 2 older brothers on a farm in South Africa and they spent their youth outdoors, fishing, hunting and getting muddy, dusty and downright dirty while cementing a deep bond with nature.
He completed his formal studies and travelled to Europe before returning to the bush and, even after guiding for 17 years, he still wakes up thinking how lucky he is to live so close to nature with his wife and son.
Sean is one of the senior guides and has worked extensively in Zululand, Sabi Sands and the Kruger National Park. He enjoys the seasonal changes, seeing the arrival of the baby animals or witnessing the Impala rutting season, or watching the migrant birds arrive from all over the world. He also enjoys watching elephants and big cats, knowing they are a real treat for guests – especially if they have their young with them.
